Trick to Get 10000+ Likes on Instagram with InstaLikes Apk

Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. A distinctive feature is that it confines photos to a square shape, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images, in contrast to the 4:3 aspect ratio typically used by mobile device cameras. Users can also apply digital filters to their images. The maximum duration for Instagram videos is 15 seconds. So one should always make the best use of it. Get lots of likes on Instagram without hashtags.

How to Enable Developer Options and Debugging on Android Wear

What kind of Android device would an Android Wear watch be without the ability to enable developer options? Not much of one, that’s for sure. Thankfully, you can enable developer options and ADB debugging pretty easily, just like you would on a regular Android phone or tablet.

Once you have ADB debugging setup, you can do fun things like take screenshots, unlock the bootloader, think about rooting your Android Wear watch, and almost anything else that comes along, like a ROM (yes, there are ROMs for these watches already).

Debugging on Android Wear

Step by Step Instructions:

Debugging on Android Wear

Step 1 : Say “OK, Google” to your watch, then “settings” to bring up the settings menu.

Step 2 : Scroll down to About, and tap on it.

Step 3 : Find the build number and tap on it multiple times.

Step 4 : A countdown will tell you that you are becoming a developer.

Step 5 : Once tapped enough, you will unlock the developer options menu.

Step 6 : Swipe back once (a swipe to the right) and you should see a new option under About for Developer options.

Step 7 : Tap on Developer options.

Step 8 : Find ADB debugging, tap on it, then tap the green check to enable it.

How to Switch iPhone into Android - Google Guide

When Apple finally released devices with 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens, it thought that it should publish a guide for Android users who were tempted to eat the fruit of Cupertino. In a reciprocal move, Google has now published a guide for iPhone users who want to migrate over to Android.

iPhone into Android

The new guide, called “Get going on Android”, covers transferring your photo stored on an iPad or iPhone, how to move from iTunes to Google Play Music, copying your contacts from iCloud, and how to set up email and messaging.

Google lets you transfer up to 20,000 of your songs from your iTunes library to Google Play Music for free.

To transfer your photos you just need to install the Google+ app on your iPhone or iPad and then set up the “Auto Backup” option. This will ensure that all your photos are copied to the cloud. To see your photos you just need to open the Photos app on your Android device and voilà.
Migrating away from iTunes is also quite simple. Google lets you transfer up to 20,000 of your songs from your iTunes library to Google Play Music for free. Once in Google Play Music you can access your collection from any web browser, on any of your Android devices, or even from your iPhone or iPad.

Fun time Music
Copying over your contacts isn’t as seamless as the transfer of photos and music, however it isn’t hard. Basically you need to export your contacts in vCard format and then import them into your Google contacts.

To get access to your emails you just need to install the relevant app on your Android device. If you are using Gmail then there is not much to do as the Gmail app should come installed by default. If you are using a service like Yahoo! then you just install the Yahoo! app on your device. For iCloud email, install an email app that supports IMAP, POP3 and Exchange accounts.

Google’s final recommendation is to switch off iMessage before you move the SIM card from your iPhone to your new Android device. To do that go to “Settings”, then “Messages”, and set iMessage to “off”. For full step-by-step instructions read Google’s Get going on Android guide Below.

How to Transfer photos stored on your iPhone or iPad

Google+ Photos is a great way to have all your pics - past and future - in one place, with unlimited private storage* and accessible from any internet connected device. There are always lots more choices on Google Play to find the photo app that works perfectly for you.
*only photos over 2048x2048 pixels and videos longer than 15 minutes count against your 15 GB of free storage
  • On your iPhone, download the Google+ app from iTunes.
  • Open Google+ and sign in using your Google account (i.e., your Gmail address and password).
  • Select "Auto Backup" for your photos by selecting the menu icon, followed by the gear icon at the top right. Now go to "Camera and Photos", touch "Auto Backup" and switch it on.
  • Sit back as all your photos are being saved to the cloud.
  • Open the Photos app on your new Android device to see all of your photos from your iPhone or iPad.

How to Transfer your iTunes library

Easily transfer up to 20,000 of your songs from your iTunes library to Google Play Music for free. From there, you can access your collection on any web browser, any of your Android devices, or even from your iPhone or iPad.
  • Make sure your iPhone or iPad is fully synced to iTunes on your computer. Your music should all be backed up on your computer when this is done.
  • Install Google Play Music Manager on your computer. Music Manager will upload your iTunes music to the cloud. You can download Music Manager here.
  • Finish setting up your Google Play account by creating a Google Wallet account*.
*Even though the standard version of Google Play Music is free, you'll need to input a credit card into your new account.

Keep all your contacts

If you don’t already know which account your contacts are saved to, you’ll need to check this in iOS. To do this on your iPhone or iPad, tap “Settings”, then “Mail, Contacts, Calendars.” Once you’re in the “Contacts” section, tap “Default Account” to see which account is selected. From the list below, read the instructions for your default account.

Contacts Account: Gmail

You’ll only need to sign in with your Google Account on your Android phone or tablet and all your contacts will be right there.

Contacts Account: iCloud

You can transfer your contacts from iCloud to Android as follows:
  • Go to “Settings,” then “Mail, Contacts, Calendars,” then “Accounts” where you should see “iCloud” listed. Open iCloud and turn on the toggle for “Contacts” which will prompt you to “Merge” your device's contacts with iCloud.
  • In a web browser, go to apple.com/icloud, login with your Apple ID, and click on "Contacts". In the lower-left corner, click on the wheel, “Select All”. Once selected, click the wheel again and choose "Export vCard".
  • In a web browser, go to gmail.com, click on the "Mail" button in the top left and select “Contacts”. You should see a list of your Gmail contacts.
  • Now click the "More" button above the contacts list and select "Import". Select "Choose File" and select your saved vCard file. When importing is complete, Gmail will display the number of contacts imported.
  • Finally, delete any duplicates by using the “Find & merge duplicates” function under the "More" button above the contacts list.

Other

If your contacts are stored locally or you’re using an account other than iCloud or Gmail then one way to transfer your contacts to Android is through iTunes on your Windows or Mac computer.
  • Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer.
  • Open iTunes and navigate to the device screen by clicking "iPhone" or "iPad" in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Open the Info tab and check the box next to “Sync Contacts with.”
  • Choose "Google Contacts" from the drop down menu and enter your Google account credentials when prompted.
  • Wait for your iPhone or iPad to sync.
You can also use a SIM card or third party apps to transfer your contacts if you’d prefer. Please see here for further info.

Set up Gmail

The Gmail app is ready to go when you set up your Android phone or tablet with a Google account. Simply open the Gmail app and sign in.

Set up iCloud email, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, or another email service

You can still access all your email accounts on your Android device by installing the app for your email service from Google Play. For example, just install Yahoo Mail. For iCloud email, install an email app that supports IMAP, POP3 and Exchange accounts.

Don’t forget to turn off iMessage

iMessage is an Apple messaging service. Don’t forget to turn it off, or SMS/MMS messages will continue to be directed to your old iPhone or iPad instead of being routed to your new Android phone.

Turn off iMessage before you remove the SIM on your iPhone or iPad by going to "Settings", then "Messages". Finally, set iMessage to “off”.

Find all your apps and discover new ones

Google Play has over 1.3 million apps to choose from so you can find all your favorites and discover new ones. For apps where you’re a subscriber, like Netflix, you can simply transfer your service over to Android for free. Just download the same app from Google Play and sign in to your app.

Hooray! Enjoy your new Android device.

Old Custom Codecs are not compatible with the latest player v1.7.31.
DTS is a type of audio codec which is owned and copy righted by DTS Inc. You can use dts pass through without any copy right issue. But, in mobile it needs to be down sampled to 2 channels which is a conversion process and it needs to the permission from DTS Inc.They are not ready to have a deal with the software players. So, dts playback support is dropped from the official MX-Player. Simply if your video has dts audio it wont play any audio. Only video will be played. So, Ktsamy [Senior XDA Member] have re-compiled the ffmpeg sources with dts audio support for our MX-Player lovers.

Check the hash values to ensure the file integrity.
  • Open MX Player on your device.
  • Go to Settings 》 Decoder 》 Custom Codec
  • Navigate into the folder you have saved the file. It will show the downloaded zip file.
  • Select the zip file. If you have selected the right zip file MX Player will Automatically restarts else it will revert with error ("Can't find custom codec for this version").
  • If you have multiple codecs in a single file (AIO version), it will automatically load the right codec for your device

[Guide] How to Backup and Restore Settings in MX Player

Hello guys,
I am a massive fan and user of MX Player, however doesn't MX Player have so many different app settings, playback configurations etc to contend with?
Wouldn't it be great if we could Backup and Restore all these settings in the event of an Android device failure, or migrating between Android devices or just for selective Backups of custom settings for restoring any whenever we choose.

How to Set Up ADB and Fastboot with Android SDK on Windows 7 & Windows 8

Android SDK brings with itself the two most important tools needed for tweaking your Android phone, ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and Fastboot. Why do we need them? ADB and fastboot helps us install a custom recovery, which allows us to root our Android devices, install custom ROMs and perform many other system tweaks which are not otherwise possible.

    Android SDK

We do so many tutorials daily on iDroid Horizon about how to root devices, install custom firmware etc. and we always recommend you should have your USB drivers properly installed and your Android phone should be working perfectly fine with ADB and Fastboot.
Let’s get on with the tutorial on how to set up ADB and Fastboot for your Android phone so that you never have to go through USB drivers issues again when trying out a custom firmware.

How to Set Up ADB and Fastboot with Android SDK

Here are the step-by-step instructions to set up ADB / Fastboot on your computer. Follow the steps carefully and make  sure you read the tutorial once before actually performing it.

    Required:
    • An Android phone. We will be using a Galaxy Nexus.
    • microUSB cable
    • A computer

DOWNLOADING JAVA & ANDROID USB DRIVERS

First, we need to get Java Platform installed and then download the Android USB drivers (and some other tools) using Android SDK Manager. This is how it is to be done:

Step 1 - Download and Install Java Platform (JDK) from Java SE Software Development Kit (SDK) downloads. Once installed, proceed to the next step.

Step 2 - Download Android SDK (installer_rXX.X-windows.exe) from the Android Developers website. Preferably: Click on Other platforms and download the ZIP package file for Windows.

Step 3 - Extract the zip file anywhere in your computer. We extracted in D:\ drive. So now we have, D:\android-sdk-windows.

Step 4 - Open SDK Manager and wait till it loads (fetches) all the packages.

Step 5 - Now only select two pakcages. Check Android SDK Platform-tools and Google USB Driver options. Uncheck everything else. Then click on the “Install 2 packages…” button.

Step 6 - Confirm the packages that you selected. Select Accept All and click the “Install” button.

Step 7 - Wait till the downloading finishes.

Step 8 - Once you get the following screen, this means all the packages have been successfully installed.

Step 9 - If you again go to the Android SDK folder (D:\android-sdk-windows), you will see the following directories now. extras and platform-tools are the most important ones that we need.

INSTALLING AND SETTING UP ADB & DRIVERS

Now that we have all the files, drivers and tools needed. We can proceed on setting up ADB for my Galaxy Nexus. In this part, we will tell you how to use the downloaded USB drivers to set up ADB.
NOTE: USB drivers may be different for other Android phones.
Step 10 - Make sure USB debugging is enabled on your phone. How? See here: How to Enable USB Debugging.

Step 11 - Connect your Android phone to the computer and wait till your PC installs all the drivers it could. Most of the drivers would fail to install.

Step 12 - Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager. In the list, you will see your phone.
    Device Manager - Windows 7

Step 13 - Right-click on it, and select Update Driver Software…

Step 14 - Select the second option from the following screen.

How to Restrict Background Data for Apps on Android

Most Android apps which refresh/update data in the background while you are not entirely using that app or have put your phone to sleep use your wifi or mobile data which result in usage of your mobile data package and as well drain your battery.

Restrict Background Data for Apps on Android

This is why Google brought up the option of data usage in Android 4.0 which shows you which apps and how much data has been used over mobile network and Wi-Fi. It also gives you a quick summary of which apps use how much data when in the foreground and when in the background over which network.

If you think apps are using a lot of background data, restrict them from using any. How? Follow the very simple steps below.
    • Go to Settings > Data usage.
    • Tap the 3 dots icon at the top right.
    • Check “Restrict background data” box.
Apps should not use any data in the background now. Some services like Gmail and other Google sync services might still use data, but to stop them, you will have to disable Accounts sync. Check out our extensive guide of battery saving tips on Android phones.

Battery Saving Tips for Android Phones – All You Need To Know

Android and good battery are two things that you never see together. To some extent, I agree with that as well. Android has always been very resource-intensive by default and there are hardly any Android phones that give you a full day without having to charge the phone.
Ice Cream Sandwich, the last Android release did address to this issue and have ironed out most of the leaks that were causing all the battery drain, but there are still some tips that you may need to take care of in order to get the maximum battery life from your Android phone.

Battery Saving Tips for Android Phones

Battery Saving Tips for Android Phones

We have used almost all the major Android phones released up to date. Battery has been an issue in all of them, but to be very honest, Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0.4 is one of the best Android phones when it comes to good battery time. I can almost pull out a 24-hour time with its standard battery and that too, with my extensive heavy usage of emails, social networks and browsing. How? Continue reading below for all the battery-saving tips I have come across so far and even use most of them – when needed.
Let’s get on with the list:

    1. Turn off Wi-Fi

It’s better to turn off your wi-fi when not in use or you are nowhere near a wi-fi hotspot. It gets you a considerable amount of battery time if you turn the wi-fi radio off. How?
    Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > OFF.

    2. Turn off Bluetooth

Same goes with bluetooth. No need to keep it turned on when not in use. The bluetooth radio sucks up your battery life even when you think nothing really is happening over bluetooth. How?
Go to Settings > Bluetooth > OFF.

    3. Turn off Background Data for Apps

Many apps go online to fetch or send data/information when not in use. How?
    • Go to Settings > Data usage.
    • Tap the app that is using most background data
    • Scroll to the bottom, and check “Restrict background data” box.
That specific app will now not use your mobile data when in the background. Want to know how to restric background data for ALL the apps? See: How to Restrict Background Data for Apps.

    4. Set Display Brightness to Automatic or Minimum

Display is the part which uses most of your battery, in almost every device. And with Android phones getting bigger and bigger display screens almost every other month, this surely is a problem with heavy users. We recommend to keep your display brightness level to the minimum or set it to automatic. Automatic should adjust the brightness level according the room lighting you are in. ‘Automatic’ is what we use. How to do?
    • Go to Settings > Display > Brightness.
    • Check “Automatic brightness” and tap OK.
You should notice a considerable amount of reduced battery usage under Settings > Battery for ‘Screen’ now.

    5. Turn off Pulse Notification Light

The LED pulse notification is useful for many (atleast for us), but if you don’t use you can turn it off which would infact help you save a bit of battery. How?
    • Go to Settings > Display.
    • Unheck “Pulse notification light”.
Note: This option may not be found on many Android phones. we have it on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

    6. Turn off Haptic Feedback

How many of you like haptic feedback? Haptic feedback is the vibration you feel when you touch/press the standard menu buttons or type on the keyboard in your Android phone. I turn it off as soon as I buy a new phone, regardless of the battery saving it does. I don’t like it. You can turn it off to save some battery as vibration sensor uses battery as well. How to turn off?
    • Go to Settings > Sound.
    • Scroll to the bottom.
    • Uncheck “Vibrate on touch” option.
Note: Some Android phones may call it “Haptic Feedback” in Settings > Sound.

    7. Use Only 2G Network

Most of you use 3G networks for data-insentive apps and games or when you need to download large files. That uses a LOT of battery. However, you can simply ask your phone to not switch to 3G and just use the 2G network. This will save you a lot of battery. How?
    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap More…
    • Then Mobile networks.
    • And uncheck “Use only 2G networks”.

    8. Shorter Screen Timeout

What if you leave your phone without putting it to sleep every time you use it? Your phone screen is on and it uses battery – even if your brightness level is set to minimum. Your screen timeout should be less. The default in most Android phones is 1 minute. We recommend to set it to 30 seconds. How?
    • Go to Settings > Display > Sleep.
    • Select 30 seconds.

    9. Turn off GPS.

GPS and location services are used by various apps i.e Google Maps, Facebook, Foursquare etc. but just to let you know, GPS uses a lot of battery in your phone. You should keep it off when not in use. GPS accuracy is provided only when you turn it on along with the wi-fi radio, but it is better to turn them off when not in use. How?
    • Go to Settings > Location services > uncheck everything.

    10. Remove Unnecessary Widgets

You should not keep unnecessary widgets on your homescreen. Why? because most of them use data and if they are not developed well, they even keep your screen on (even though you have put the phone to sleep). This drains your battery even when the phone is not in use.

Widgets that come with apps like Facebook fetches latest status updates or a Twitter widget will get the latest tweets after every few minutes or so which will result in more background data and will use more battery even when you are not really using the phone.

This doesn’t mean you remove all the widgets from your homescreen. After all, Android is the only OS that brings you all these amazing options and features to customize your phone with!

    11. Disable Live Wallpaper

Android introduced live wallpapers for your mobile phones, but they never really warned how resource-intensive live wallpapers are. Apart from using your processing power, it is heavy on the battery as well. And the same goes with live wallpapers also like the bad coded widgets. They keep your screen on all the time even when the phone is put to sleep which uses way more battery than it sounds.

    12. Use Dark Wallpapers on AMOLED Displays

Since we are talking about wallpapers, another point just came to my mind. AMOLED and Super AMOLED displays have brilliant colours and most of us love using bright and colourful wallpapers – but here is the ugly truth. They go very harsh on your battery. These displays come with a blessing as well.

Black objects are equal to screen off. They don’t use much battery. It is always recommended to use darker wallpapers or just use a plain black background if you are not fond of wallpapers. Just a small tip to save battery life.

    13. Sign-out from Google Talk

When you turn on a new phone and sign-in with your Google account, Android automatically signs-in your Google Talk as well. Many people who do not use Google Talk have no idea of Google Talk running in the background all the time. You can sign-out of the service to save you battery life and background data. How?
    • Open Google Talk
    • Tap your Google account.
    • Tap the 3 dots icon at the top-right of the screen.
    • Select Sign out.

    14. Disable Accounts Sync

This is the most important battery power saving tip I have across to date on Android. When running out of battery or if you are not one of those busy people who want to know about their every email when it arrives, you can safely disable accounts sync which I’m sure is why Android is so heavy on the battery.

Disabling syncing on your Android phone can almost double up your entire phone’s battery life. You can thank me by Like on on Facebook!

Let’s get to the tutorial now.

    Requirements:
    • Download AirDroid from the Google Play Store.
